i'm happy to report that today was an uphill day. i woke up with a major stomach ache. i could hear the thunderstorms outside. i just didn't feel like getting out of bed. so i went back to sleep. i missed breakfast and church. but i woke up in time to get a nice work out in and then have lunch. after that i went into rutland with olga, hayley and sara and we walked around at walmart and tj maxx and then saw the incredible hulk. i really like it. edward norton was sooooooooooooooo hotttttt!!! i think i like him better as a mutated genius than as a repentant neo-nazi....yeah, ha. he's seriously so sexy. the movie was so fun. and what the fuck was that ending?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! omg, i knew i should expect there to be a sequel but the whole (spoiler alert!) merger of ironman and the hulk?!?!?!?! OMFG! that's going to be so fucking incredible! so if you haven't see ironman, see it, and if you haven't seen the hulk, see it, because those are definitely the two best movies i've seen so far this summer!!!! and oh, the factory scene where he cuts his finger and the blood falls into one of the bottles, yeah, that was almost enough to make me stop drinking soda for ever (okay, let's admit it, that will never happen....), but seriously, what if some idiot factory worker got blood in my soda and i got hiv or something??????? ah, that's so fucking creepy! whatever, i guess i shouldn't be worried because if that really were to happen, i'd have a hell of a case and i'd probably get a rather large settlement and be able to cure/treat anything that i'd happen to get....anyway, after that we went to harry's for dinner, oh and on the way there we had some seriously awesome jam sessions to stevie nicks, meredith brooks, john mellencamp, etc....but i had some great pad thai and ice cream at harry's, yum, delicious! this is the second time i've gone there since i've been in vermont, and for the second time, we got terrible service. but whatever, the food is fucking awesome. anyway, now i'm just sittin', chillin', doin' nothinggggggg....listening to music. you know how it is. aight, i'm gonna go now......love yaaaaaas!

so sorry for the lack of posting. i've been busy. hiking, walking, eliptical, shopping....doing everrrrrrything....and having a great time. not much is new. we've just been hanging out. and working out. and eating. but eating healthy food. been watching lots of dr. phil while i work out. some crazy episodes. teacher-student sex scandals...that stupid katherine girl that ran away to palestine...good stuff. we've been watching lots of movies, too. the other night we watched jimmy and judy...that movie with edward furlong and his wife....WORST MOVIE EVER. seriously. i'm ashamed to say that i own it. it's basically a 21st century version of rebel without a cause (get it...jimmy and judy...hahaha?) so it's like two alienated teens tht fall in love and then start murdering people and go on like tons of drugs and have sex and shit, it's crazy...and rachael bella is a terrible actress, TERRIBLE!!!!!!! and edward furlong isn't that good in it either! he looks pretty hot, especially when he shaves his head, but really, he should've just retired after american history x because it was all downhill after that...examples.....the visitation....the covenant: brotherhood of evil.....need i say more? i think not. i have nothing really to say about my life...except...that i am having a birthday party! yay! it's really low-key...basically just the girls coming over to the basement and chilling...so please, if you are invited, don't expect a huge throwdown. it's pretty simple....but it'll still be fun. and despite the lack of extravagance, you know there's still going to be great food. so that's all i have to say for now. oh, and happy belated birthday to rachel! sorry girl, i didn't forget, i just haven't been online or anything!

today was fun. i played with the kids. love those kids.

after that i had an appointment..and let me just say, my therapist is the coolest person ever. why? she went to college with brad pitt, she knows who edward furlong is, she likes edward furlong, she's seen pecker, she appreciates american history x, and she likes good music.

then i hung out with kevin for a while. we just chilled and drove around, it was fun.

throughout the course of this, i saw like three people rollerblading. is rollerblading making a comeback, or is beachwood just stuck in the 90s????

now i'm at home, watching the game. so i gotta go, cuz this game is gonna be intense! peace out.

i'm trying really, really hard to be myself again, but it's not as easy as i thought it would be.

then i spent most of the day packing and watching american history x.....

honestly the more i watch that the more i become obsessed with edward furlong....and that look. i can't help it. i don't know what it is. i never get sick of that movie. i could watch it over and over and i'll never get sick of it. well someday i will. i'm honestly getting all lovesick over a guy that doesn't even look like that at all anymore, and i'm definitely more obsessed with the character (not the neo-nazi shit, i swear) than the actual person because i'm pretty convinced edward furlong is crazy....he tried to free the lobsters......

anyway.

then we went out to dinner at ruby tuesday and then we went to the movies. i saw drillbit taylor. it was horrible. it was not funny at all. it was so bad that i left before it was over.

also...i think it's weird that people write band of brothers fanfiction. like i love to write fanfic because i honestly fall in love with characters all the time, but the guys in band of brothers aren't characters, they were real people and they're either dead or really really old. like i would love to fall in love with the "character" of doc roe, because shane taylor is really really hot, but the real doc roe didn't actually look like that (sorry dr. roe, serioiusly, i love you and respect you immensely for serving our country!!!!!) and he's also dead. so in that case, it's definitely more attracted to the actor than the character because it isn't a character!!! it's a real person!!!!

today was interesting.

this morning, i saw miss pettigrew lives for a day (by myself). I LOVED IT!!!! it was so incredibly cute. i knew i was going to love it from the minute it started, with one of my favorite songs, "brother can you spare a dime." basically the story is about gwenivere pettigrew who is a down on her luck governess. it takes place in london right on the verge of world war ii, so the depression is still prevalent and not a lot of rich people are around to hire governesses. miss pettigrew works for the few rich people there are and, being the daughter of a clergymen, finds it hard to deal with their morals, or lack there of. anyway, she goes through employers rather quickly because she always seems to be judging people and she goes back to her employment agency to find a new job but they tell her they can't place her anywhere else and send her out but she grabs the card of a new client and heads to the house. she thinks she's going as a governess, but when she gets there, she finds delysia (i love that name, it's pronounced like delicious, but with a softer s....like delissya...lol, i love it it's so elegant). delysia is an aspiring american movie actresses living a life of promiscuity and parties. miss pettigrew is very taken aback and quickly realizes that delysia doesn't even have any children and she wants miss pettigrew to be here "social secretary," or basically her right hand gal. so all day miss pettigrew has to help delysia hide her various boyfriends from each other and go around to different social events. it's absolutely lovely. the clothes are divine and the music is amazing!!! it's glamorous and romantic and you just must see it!!!

so after the movie, i was so in the mood to listen to some big band so i went to bed, bath and beyond and got this swing cd, "satin doll," that i've wanted for a really long time. i've been listening to it all day, it's fabulous. i'm definitely bringing it on my williamsburg trip because it's waaaay better than listening to my grandparents' rodney dangerfield tapes!!!!! they get really old after about the 50th time.

anyway, after a little more shopping (i decided to get the book version of miss pettigrew lives for a day, because it was a book first, so that means the book can be good, and it actually is, it's a little different but it's nice so far) i had an appointment.

after the appointment i headed out to macedonia and saw penelope (again, by myself). penelope was cute. it was kind of weird and little unbelievable, but it was still romantic and nice. and christina ricci wore really cute clothes and reese witherspoon was adorable as always. it wasn't as cute as miss pettigrew, but james mcavoy's hotness keeps you intrigued.....

so basically i spent my day in the seats of cinemark....which really is, as they advertise, the best seat in town. seriously, cinemark theaters are so much better than anyother theaters. the seats lean back really far and you can even put the arm rests up!!! that way, if there's no one sitting beside you, you can basically lie down, and if there's no one in front of you, you can comfortably put your feet up. usually there's no one near me, but when theaters are crowded i'm sometimes tempted to buy three tickets so no one can ask me to movie because technically i paid for three seats....i'm so weird.

so i think i'm going to go watch tower of terror, the movie, because it takes place in the same era of miss pettigrew, and i'm really in the mood for that music. but i'm also in the mood to watch american history x again...i actually think i would get more nightmares from tower of terror because american history x just doesn't really disturb me...probably because i'm more focused on edward furlong's hotness than the actual plotline.

i love that song. and if you've ever seen american history x, you know exactly what i'm talking about. oh and the guy that sings that really fucked up version of it in the movie, the fat guy, who was also the fat lackey in boy meets world, is now skinny!!! what's up with that?!?!?!?! he's been the fat friend in everything, and now he's just going to be the regular friend!!!!! it's like the world's been turned upside down!!!! lol.

it was like someone hit the hyperactive button today. i mean it was the day before spring break but it wasn't the kind of hyper that's like omg, i want to get out of school, vacay!!!! no, it was more that, wow i'm megan, and i'm fucking hilarious and everything i say is so fucking funny that i'm going to talk really loudly so everyone can hear me.

seriously. at the beginning of the day i was all tired and was like blah i don't even want to go to school! and first period i was being all lazy and then mr. chordas urged me to read my dream journal so i did and of course it was fucking hilarious cuz my dreams are oh so very twisted so i got all hyped up and for the rest of the day i was the person who thinks everything they say is so important that the rest of the world wants to hear it. it's not like we were doing anything worthwhile in school today anyway.

in film we were watching band of brothers (can you say sexiness????). we were watching part nine...the part with the sex scene (gasp!)....and the concentration camp (uh....another kind of gasp?)......so yeah, that was good.

then i had two hours of free period....hence the constant updates......then we had english class, which was basically a free period as well.

after school i hung out with victoria and then we went to yours truly with my parents and then shopping at target for stuff for my vacation.

then i came home and watched a history channel documentary with my dogs (while eating a pint of ben and jerry's of course) about nazi america, which was really rather interesting. then of course, after watching that, i was really in the mood to watch american history x, but i wanted to take a shower first, so i turned on the tv when i was in the shower and guess what was on? american history x. it's one of those nights where fx like shows it twice in a row...the edited version of course....which i actually prefer because then my parents aren't like megan why is the f-bomb coming out of your room every ten seconds?!?!?! but the edited version is still pretty intense and i'm actually surprised it's on cable.....actually everything on fx is really intense.....does anyone else think so?? i mean, i can't believe fx is like part of basic cable, practically everything on it is tvma.....

anyway....so now i'm watching american history x, the edited version, and i'll probably be up for a while. i don't have school tomorrow and i don't have anything to do besides an appointment with my therapist at 3.....other than that i guess i can sleep and watch tv....my idea of a perfect day.

okay, so watching this, you can definitely tell that edward furlong looks like edward furlong. what i'm trying to say is that his basic features of his like wide mouth are still visible but the fact that he doesn't have hair and his eyes and nose are so attractive are what makes him hot in this movie....does anyone understand that???? ha. anyway, i would just like to reiterate that i find the actor edward furlong attractive, not the character of danny vinyard. but, however, let's return to my theory that you have to be in love with the main character of something to really enjoy it. danny is the main character of american history x, not derek. and to be honest, i think it's easier to love danny than derek. derek killed someone, derek led the gang, derek formed his own opinions. even though he's the one that turns around first, he was the one that started the doc, and his younger brother danny was just following in his footsteps and trying to impress his older brother. i mean, what kid doesn't look up to their older sibling (besides mine)???? so it's definitely easier to sympathize with danny, because he just kind of fell into all of this without really thinking about it, not that it wasn't really stupid and wrong, but still i'm just saying. and by the end of the movie, he realizes he's wrong. and he's going to change and be different and all and you know that cuz he takes down his nazi stuff but then he gets shot. and if he didn't i really think he would have changed. he would've stayed away from the gang and tried to get his little blonde girlfriend, lizzie, to leave with him. i like to think that the principal guy got the paper, even though it was blood-splattered. then people could have at least known he was changed. i also like his interaction with his little blonde girlfriend (who's actually not that cute, and kind of chubby, but hey, who am i to talk, i'm waaaay fatter than her). it's like the only thing that's real about him. i don't think she's a nazi. i think she just likes him and follows him around. she makes no real gesture in the movie to show that's she's actually involved in the nazi cause, other than just being at cameron's party. but still, i feel like their interaction is just their's and would be even if danny was a member of the naacp. but anyway, i just like the way he kisses her and taps her on the head with his paper, i think that's adorable.

okay, so anywaaaaaaaaaaay......i don't really have anything else to say now. other than people think i'm attracted to guys that looks "sickly." i can kind of see that. and i was like joking about it all day and people who didn't know what i was talking about thought i was crazy, but whatever.

i think i might switch to the dvd now. because these are long ass commercials. but i don't really want to watch the dvd.....the opening sex scene is like really intense....the first time i saw the unedited version i was like woooooah didn't even know that was in there....and i really don't want to watch that....ew i hate that actress, whatever he name is, i don't know how to spell it or pronounce it or anything, but i've honestly never seen her do a god job in any movie...i mean i guess she was "good" in american history x, but i just don't think she was really the right actress for the role.

i forgot to mention that when i got off the elevator at the game i ran into anderson varejao. like physically ran into him. i was at the q really early and i got was getting off the elevator at the club level and he was just standing there. it was really odd actually. there was hardly anyone else around and i really didn't expect anyone to be standing there when i got off the elevator. i was just kinda like ooo....mmmmm.....gggg. and of course i had to do a quick look around to make sure sasha wasn't with him or anything, because if he was i would totally jump him, ha jk, or am i, hahaha. anyway, i was acting like incredibly dorky and just staring at andy and i was like in shock mostly because of how incredibly tall he is. he's like way taller than i thought he would be. like i'm used to being around tall people because my dad is tall and all but this guy was way taller than my dad. it was like that time we saw danny ferry in the hallway and he was so tall! i mean seriously, how are these guys only supposedly a few inches taller than my father but they're like gigantic compared to him!!! i'm convinced my dad is lying about his height. anyway, the pics are finally up, so here they are.....after looking at all those edward furlong pics i'm not only in the mood to watch american history x, but i'm also convinced he's sasha pavlovic's long lost brother.
