i'm about to leave for my three week health spa vacation/retreat. somehow, i managed to fill up three large suitcases, and i already shipped two boxes of my stuff there. i have no idea how i did this. i really just brought the essentials. the first box i shipped was mostly books and art supplies. the second box had all of my workout clothes and socks and my nalgene. one of my suitcases has all of my regular clothes, for relaxing/going out/weekends/evenings/etc. and my swim suits and sandals and several different purses to match my different outfits when i go out. the other suitcases has my box of art supplies and pictures and stuff that i made with my therapist (it's mostly art supplies, but also has my self cards, my framed and signed picture of mariska hargitay, and a photo album my grandma made me), my rollers, my curling iron, my straightener, all of my beauty products, hair accessories, perfume, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and hair products. the last suitcase has everything i couldn't fit in my other suitcases. my dogs (the stuffed animal ones...lucky from 101 dalmations and pal from arthur...they wouldn't let me take riley and sammy), my contacts, glasses, toothpaste, tooth brushes, face wash, magazines, magazine cutouts, my boombox, stationary, laptops, charges for appliances, and some other stuff. i really didn't pack that much, did i? i can't understand how it filled up that much space!!!!! i seriously just brought the essentials. i mean, i'm going away for three weeks, by myself!!!, so i need to feel comfortable!!! this isn't the first time i've gone away by myself before. i've gone to camp, good ones and bad ones, and i went on that school trip to france, but that was different because i went with friends and um hello? we were travelling around europe so it was like so much fun!!! anyway, i've got to go now! write to you from wherever i am tonight!

excited
classic nickelodeon ruled my childhood. i was slightly convinced that i was going to be best friends with bobby budnick and donkeylips....so where are these children that i loved so much in my youth now? well, here's what i could find.
salute your shorts:
ug, kirk baily, has been in a few movies and guest-starred on a bunch of tv shows.

zz ziff, megan berwick, was on full house as the "hottie" cathy santony. she went to college and now is apparently coming back to acting. and she's looking good!!!

donkeylips, michael bower, has continued to play the "fat guy" on tv and in movies. he was in the music video for "download this song" by mc lars.

telly, venus demilo, has continued acting, she was on a bunch of episodes of sister, sister and the bold and the beautiful.

sponge, tim eyster, was on a bunch of other shows before sys but not much after.

dina alexander, heidi lucas, did a bunch of guest star spots on shows like boy meets world and saved by the bell. she goes by heidi lee now, and is more beautiful than ever!!!!

bobby budnick (<3<3<3), danny cooksey, has actually done a lot. he was in terminator 2 with edward furlong, he had that child prodigy metal band, bad 4 good, and now he does a ton of voice over stuff.

michael stein, erik macarthur, has been in some random movies and stuff, including pleasantville and bottoms up with paris hilton.

ronnie pinsky, blake soper, has probably been the most successful. he was the lackey on boy meets world and is now known as blake sennett and is in rilo kiley, and he definitely dated jenny lewis for a long time.

mona, christine cavanaugh, has been on random sitcoms and has done voice-over work.

hey dude:
melody hansen, christine taylor, has obviously had a successful career. she's been in lots of movies such as dodgeball and zoolander and is married to ben stiller.

ted mcgriff, david lascher, was on sabrina. he's now married with two kids.

brad taylor, kelly brown, hasn't done much of anything really. she got married, has a family and lives in upstate new york.

i can't find any pics of her now :( :( :(.
no one else on this show did ANYTHING!!! so i don't even feel like writing about them!
clarissa explains it all:
clarissa, melissa joan hart, was obviously on sabrina and on other random things. now she's married and has kids. oh, and taylor thinks she's incredibly sexy.

her annoying lil bro ferguson, played by jason zimbler, has done a whole lot of nothing. he went to notre dame for college.

the mom, elizabeth hess, has done random guest star roles.

the dad, joe o'connor, has also been on random shows, including cold case and reno 911.

sam anders, clarissa's bff played by sean o'neal, hasn't done much more acting.

alex mack:
alex mack, larisa oleynik, was in lots of other things like 10 things i hate about you and the babysitters club movie. she went to sarah lawrence and still acts occassionally.

her friend ray, darris love, was on sister, sister and has recently appeared on csi.

her sister annie, meredith bishop, was on scrubs and felicity.

to be honest, i don't even remember the character of jessica, but apparently she was played by jessica alba, and we all know where she is these days!!! and also the character of hunter reeves, i don't remember him...but he was played by will estes, who was on american dreams, and i consider him hot. also, marguerite moreau, from queen of the damned, life as we know it, and the mighty ducks was in it but i don't remember her either. i'm going to have to go back and do some serious alex mack watching!!!!
shelby woo:
irene ng, who played shelby, didn't really do anything memorable after the show. she went to harvard and became a banker for merrill lynch. i couldn't find any current photos.
adam busch, who played noah, has been in a bunch of random (mostly failed) tv shows and movies....including that horrendous film american dreamz....with a z, i know...
eleanor noble, who was angie, went on to do a bunch of voice over work, including the voice of george on arthur.
pete and pete:
michael c. maronna, big pete, did a few random movies and tv shows.

danny tamberelli, little pete, did a bunch more nick stuff, most notably all that. he was in that weird movie igby goes down, he went to hampshire college and is now in a rock band called jounce.

obviously, michelle tratchenberg, who played nona, has had a pretty good career, with eurotrip, buffy, etc. and her current stint on gossip girl.
apparently heather matarazzo, iggy pop, martin donovan, and steve buscemi were on that show as well, but i don't remember. also, rick gomez, who was on band of brothers, was on the show, idk.

is really bad. that's the only downside of this town. i have really thick hair, and it's really humid, so my hair gets frizzy and limp and looks bad. yesterday it was all not-straight and i had it in a thick black headband and was wearing my big sunglasses and i really looked like britney spears....i was like, wow that is definitely not the person i want to be looking like right now...i mean we have the same sunglasses and we have for a long time (but i swear i didn't know she had them when i bought them, i just realized that this fall when i saw her wearing them on the cover of us magazine and i've had them since like february) but i look way cuter in them because overall i think i'm a lot classier person than she is and, oh, i'm not a drugged-out-alcoholic-crack-bimbo.....oo ooooh, burn to brit.
so anyway. we woke up early and had breakfast at the hotel. it was fabulous. tons of eggs, fruit, bacon, yogurt. a celiac can do fine here. oh, and grits are gluten-free by the way, and they are now one of my favorite things.
then we went on a really long walk by the mississippi river and got coffee at cafe du monde, which is really famous and way better than starbucks by the way.
then we walked around town a lot more and went over to bourbon street and saw how different it was in the morning. it was literally like the "morning-after" scene where they were cleaning up beads and streamers and food from all over the ground....someone got hit by a car or something on bourbon street....i don't know, but someone died there and the crime lab and the csi were investigating it and it was totally awesome. (i'm so morbid and insensitive, but whatever).....
by the way the vintage stores are really cool here cuz it's all like vintage vintage. like some things came over from europe or are really in the european/french style because they're so old.
ah, everything here reminds me of interview with the vampire!!!
okay, i gotta go, nba all-star jam time!!! wooowooo!!!!!
